Hebrew Scripture teaches thta God has written within the order of creation a moral code that reflects His infinite wisdom and goodness. By developing character so that our lives can be conformed to this code, we not only please God and glorify Him but also align ourselves with the moral precepts of the universe and with God’s blessing for peace and happiness during our time on earth. Conversely, if we reject God’s law and live in disobedience to Him, thus setting our lives against the moral ordering of creation, we subject ourselves to heartbreak and disappointment.
