LifeBrook China, an outreach program of LifeBrook International, is a cross-cultural teaching and service ministry, dedicated to building bridges of understanding, cooperation, and deepening fellowship between the people of North America and Mainland China, primarily through non-sectarian spiritual principles and practices.

Through its Closing the Gap program, provides its flagship services in America. Utilizing informative and dynamic trainings, workshops, seminars, and correspondence courses, LifeBrook provides information and experiences designed to deepen our understanding of China, its unique history and culture, and the changing face of the nation as it marches forth into the second decade of the 21st Century. Particular emphasis is place on the present role of religion and spirituality in China as its people increasingly seek a transformational sense of meaning and purpose in life.

Through its innovative publication program, LifeBrook Communications, the organization writes and publishes growth oriented, spiritual literature that is carefully written, culturally sensitive and addresses the unique character and needs of the residents of Mainland China. These publications are available in simple English and in Chinese. In addition, LifeBrook China develops state-of-the-art English as a Second/Foreign Language materials, designed for Chinese university students and others interested in learning the English language at an advanced level. These language-learning materials are unique in that, in addition to language acquisition, they are also focused on helping people become positive, spiritually fulfilled persons.

In today’s global marketplace, China is playing an increasingly strategic role. With its large domestic market and rapidly expanding production capabilities, China is fast becoming a positive resource for companies around the world. In recognition of this reality, LifeBrook China also offers Business/Organizational Consulting Services, aimed at helping Stateside business entities develop a deeper understanding of the principles and practices involved in successfully conducting commerce in China. It is important to understand that conducting business in China is not the same as doing business in western countries. China has a rich cultural history dating back over 5,000 years and Chinese cultural expectations play a significant role in how commerce is carried out on a daily basis. In addition, the Chinese language is vastly different than English and is interwoven into the culture in subtle but meaningful ways.

In light of these cultural and linquistic differences, LifeBrook China offers consulting services for businesses and organizations that plan to pursue trade with companies in China. We can tailor workshops, seminars, and other training venues to meet specific organizational needs, with the goal of making the business experience in China more harmonious, enjoyable, and profitable. Language instruction and translation services are also available.
