We must understand that the organic Gospel is more about intimacy with God than the forgiveness of sins. (I would never minimize this important revelation concerning forgiveness of sins. The problem, however, is that when we make forgiveness of sins an end-product rather than the means to that end, it breaks entrustment with our savior.) The organic Gospel frees us to be intimate with Christ. This in turn helps us to understand our identity. People who understand who they are turn into thriving people rather than surviving people. A thriving people reach out beyond themselves to hurting people who need what they have found.
